To Be Frank has announced his first festival appearance for 2014. The singer/producer will be heading to Austin, Texas in March to perform at SXSW.
This news caps an exciting and remarkably successful year for Frank Pescod. Since clocking up 120,000 + views on his debut video, ‘If You Love Her’ in a matter of days, he has performed at Reading, Leeds, Latitude and Wilderness Festivals. Kudos and spins from Zane Lowe, Huw Stephens, Lauren Laverne and Fearne Cotton with a Radio 1 playlist to boot. No major label or publisher on board, despite overtures being made, Franks DIY ethos has taken him from sleepy Suffolk to the worlds biggest music festival and conference.
A SXSW invite to play sees an auspicious start to 2014 for Frank, who says “Being invited to perform at SXSW is incredible. It’s amazing news and I can’t wait to get out there.”
